ABOUT
With equal ease and finesse, No. 1 Billboard-charting artist Lucas Hoge can craft a song, cast a line, or call in a turkey in front of a film crew - all while holding an audience's attention on stage when performing. As a warm, engaging television host on hit Sportsman Channel, Heartland Network, and American Country Network show Hoge Wild, Hoge finds himself in over 155 million households annually, taking viewers across the globe as he travels to places like New Zealand, Bolivia, South Africa, and unchartered territory in North America. With a guitar in one hand and a bow in the other, Hoge treks the world to amplify his passion for the outdoors and change the narrative around conservation with each weekly Hoge Wild episode. Season 5 began airing in June 2024 and, in the first four months, has already seen over 10 million minutes viewed.
Despite the success of Hoge Wild, Hoge’s journey begins and continues with a song. The Hubbell, Nebraska native, whose hometown boasts a population of 44, is the co-founder of the Belize Songwriter Festival. The festival takes place in May each year in Hopkins, Belize, where Hoge invites his favorite artists and songwriter friends to share country music with the people of Belize - and enjoy some fun in the sun while they’re at it.
While COVID pandemic provided an unprecedented struggle for most, Hoge dominated the world of live streaming, while simultaneously growing and engaging his fan base with weekly virtual concerts. He consistently amassed audience numbers in the Top Ten on Pollstar’s Weekly Livestream Chart alongside hit artists like DMX, Snoop Dogg, Luke Combs, BTS and more. In 2020, Hoge pulled in over 2.5M views on Facebook alone - only besting that number in 2021 with over 3M views.
Accolades aside, what makes Hoge truly unique is his drive to connect with people from all walks of life, which permeates everything he does. A tireless humanitarian, Hoge loves animals and is a passionate supporter of the U.S. military, performing for troops throughout the Middle East and beyond for more than 13 years as a part of the Wrangler National Patriot Tour.
His relentless creative spirit, abundance of Midwestern charm, and unmatched work ethic set the stage for a successful 2025 as Hoge prepares for the release of Book About Me - his first, full-length album since his ascent to No. 1 on Billboard. The project, featuring (how many total songs?), highlights different aspects of Hoge’s upbringing in a small farm town. The stripped, pedal steel-laced lead single from Book About Me, “When A Cowboy Prays,” features actor Forrie Smith from hit Paramount show Yellowstone and pairs Hoge’s famous baritone vocals and Smith’s husky narration to dig into the throughline of faith in the cowboy culture. Co-written by Hoge with Justin Lantz and produced by Forest Glen Whitehead, "When a Cowboy Prays" was inspired by Hoge’s small-town beliefs and his faith. The release of Book About Me will be prefaced by a series of additional project singles, out beginning in early 2025.
